Biography
tramuc is an improvising duo based in hamburg who focus on instant composing and sonic research. the duo consists of pia abzieher playing keys and cello; and felix mayer playing trombone and guitar. they both also use computers and things that are found in everyday life. the work of tramuc reflects what could be considered traditional ideas of so called free music. they improvise and attempt to identify and break down borders. to do this they improvise with field recordings and collaborate with other people via the internet – which was how the rebirth of time album was born.
darius (bass-guitar, ebow) is a musician without borders – motivated by atonal and improvised musics. he has been conducting sound experiments both in groups and solo situations since the early 90s, with the slogan capture the truth of the moment. his playing is catharsis, the expression of an introspection continually renewed in which he reveals himself to listeners without pretense or artifice.
