Description

Imagine what it would be like to see a star pulled apart by a black hole: its violent energy being silently stripped away towards something beyond human understanding.

-----

This is something of a sister-project to "Chameleon". Both came together very quickly over a space of just two weeks (hey, when you're on a roll, you're on a roll!). At the time, I was listening to a lot of early Kosmische/Space Rock albums (particularly early Tangerine Dream and *very* early Popol Vuh), paying particular attention to how their more ambient sections were structured and layered.

Part 1 has the more sci-fi sound - almost "Blade Runner"-like in places. Part 2, on the other hand, is generally softer with a pronounced classic-70's sound thanks to its use of flute/mellotron.
