Biography
Remote is a heavies band founded by Pavel, Evgeny and Roman in 2012, Kaluga, Russia. Vocals for the first record called "Dualism" was performed by Kirill "Kill.Real" Maximchuk (Edgecrusher, Constructions). After a few line-up changes since the 2021 band performing their live-shows as a duo.
Through the atmospheric doom metal sound on first Remote's record "Dualism" and after recording the band's only hit "Oymyakon" as a studio-live single, band recorded their first full-length stonery album called "The Great Bong of Buchenwald", which was released on Bad Road Records label.
Trying to find their own and non-Bongzilla-like sound guys recording their next album "Gift" which was a lot slower and much less smokey.
The band gives a lot of live performances mostly in Moscow, and participates in various festivals dedicated to sludge/doom metal.
Today, Remote finally finishing work on their new album called "Дым" (aka Dym or Smoke), which sums up the last 5 years of band's life. The sound of the last record is bleack, dirty, slow doom metal mixed with sludge, noise, black metal.
