Transmogrifier Album

Transmogrifier-- a title taken from the body-transforming machine in Calvin & Hobbes-- consists of 10 transmorphic electrosexual noise collages. It was created out of improvised experiments with synthesizers (tracks 2, 4, 5, 8, 9) and the no-input mixing board technique (tracks 1, 3, 6, 7, 10).

These experiments attempt to connect some ideas about what is natural and what is artificial: body dysmorphia, starting hormone therapy, machine/medical interventions on human form, and how to sonify a changing body.
