Guiding Light Album

The tracks included are in reference to a "Guiding Light" within the many facets of the sense of the term. Whether it be personified as a goal, person, place, love, desire, or the afterlife itself. There is something guiding every person towards the next stage of whatever the present happens to be for them. There are mainly four meanings I was emphasizing throughout this album, but it's open to however you see fit to perceive. First being a goal or change in directive that drives and guides you. Second being the embodiment of a person as that guide. Third the representation of the feeling of being lost, alone, or helpless seeking something you can almost touch just out of reach. Fourth the shift from life to death. Not in a negative context by any means but more of a transition into the unknown guided by whatever your higher power might entail (if any). I hope that sheds some insight on what I was trying to create with this batch of songs.
