Having issued Christian H. Sötemann's work on various labels and formats for almost 15 years, I'm glad to finally do a digital-only release for him – Metaphysical Digital's preantepenultimate statement of 2015. The bombastic, driving title track recalls John Foxx's "Metamatic" slightly – or, perhaps, Add N to (X), in a roundabout sort of way. It's definitely part of cryptic scenery's recent electronic can(n)on, yet with classic guitar detonations. Furthermore, you get a pair of old-school-yet-timeless instrumental rhythmic/melodic-wave beauties here, unlike anything we've heard from cryptic scenery before!
