Imaginary Cities II Album

This is the second volume of "Imaginary Cities", long, dark and continuous drones best listened to on headphones (in my opinion).

There are both similarities and differences compared to the first "Imaginary Cities" album. Every piece – on volume I as well as this one – is started with and based on a drone created with a single guitar loop. Subsequently, further "events" are added, including a very simple signature motif in the key of the respective track, consisting of the octavised root note (first the higher note, then the lower one).While it can make for at times challenging listening, the pieces also convey a hypnotic effect.
