Sounds of Disillusionment Album

This album is inspired by a September 2015 posting on the wonderful and dark Scarfolk blog entitled "Library Music LPs (1970s)". Scarfolk is, for those who don't know, a satirical website about a fictitious northern United Kingdom down stuck forever in the 1970s and captures for feel and paranoia of that time.

This blog post was about the kind of records that you might find in the Scarfolk lending library and I thought that some of the titles were simply too good to not try to put some music to. Hence "Sounds of Disillusionment" was born.

Since a lot of the humor in Scarfolk is the editing of "vintage" 1970s posters I thought it was appropriate to try my hand at it, which is why we have Donald Trump on the cover.
