Chapman, Vultures2012 was impressive to say the absolute least last
Saturday. Mixing crust punk, death, and stoner metal into a hybrid of
epic proportions, Vultures were by the far the heaviest band on the
bill. If High on Fire and Amebix had a baby and that baby listened to a
lot of Swedish melodic death metal and then formed a band, it might
sound like-- Vultures2012. They have a self-titled EP out produced by
famed local producer Conrad Uno. Sky’s the limit with this band. Next
