"Friday night in the beautiful cellar space at engers du Zinc, the Brooklyn duo The Judy Blooms played a short set of a great beauty. They are a group that knows how to be slow, take their time, and sacrifice speed in favor of refined emotion.
In seven songs, the New York duo struck a strong chord with the enthusiastic crowd that filled the bar's cellar. Strong emotion was particularly present and the crowd was brought to their knees by the band's sad mood, melancholic but with a fiercely deep beauty.
The Judy Blooms, Jake Giesige (vocals/guitar) and Angel Allende (drums), held a cold and distant communion with an amazed crowd. This is a memorable musical event that just took place in Besançon."
