Biography
Formed in 2007 in Melbourne,
Superstar (Esther Edquist – vocals, synthesizer, drum machine &
Kieran Hegarty – guitars) make “floating music” - pastoral
sounds, wonky, slow rhythms & cosmic melodies... Having released
several small-run cassettes & touring regularly over the past 4
years, Superstar are releasing their 1st
album – “A Toast to…Superstar” in Spring 2011, a more fully
realised suite of experimental, glistening pop songs.
