Biography
Steinregen Dubsystem is a mix of a band and a DJ-Soundsystem from the city of Freiburg in .
We combine digital techniques (arrangement with ableton live) and instruments played live like trumpets,
guitar, vocals, bass, percussion, accordion and many more. The Sound is a mix between steppers dub, electro,
dub(step), reggae, jungle & balkan.
The concept behind our productions is to absorb many diferent styles from all over the world. Therefore we
travel around to record other musicians and styles. In 2010 and 2011 we traveled to southern , the Czech Republic,
Austria, Hungary and Slovakia to record the basics of the last album "Roots and Leaves" and in 2012 we traveled to
and Spain to record elements for productions...
Since 2008 the band has produced three albums :
- Babylon Newspaper Mixtape (2009)
- One Drop Dialogs (2010)
- Roots and Leaves (2012)
