Biography

"Scribes is a Hip Hop and R&B artist from Seattle, WA. He is well
known through out the northwest. Though independently established, he
has built a large following and gained the respect of listeners for his
abilities as an unparalleled vocal talent (rapper/singer/lyricist) and
also for being one of the hardest working talents in the region. He has
performed through out the northwest and opened for many different
successful national artists. He has collaborated/worked with artists
such as Stone Gossard & Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Macklemore, SOL
and Zion I.
On Feb 4th 2011, he released his sophomore album “What Was Lost”.
“What Was Lost” is the follow up to his freshman album “Sleepwalk”
(2007) which was engineered by Macklemore. Orginally financed by Mike
McCready, “What Was Lost” was largely produced by Bean One the beat
maker from the Seattle group Dyme Def. So far “What Was Lost” has been a
Northwest success. The album has received good rotation from
non-commercial radio stations like KEXP 90.3 FM. He has been featured on
major blogs like 2dopeboyz.com and Pearl Jam’s facebook page. The album
