Ya-Fei Chuang
Acclaimed by critics in the United States and abroad for performances of stunning virtuosity, refinement and communicative power, pianist Ya-Fei Chuang has performed in venues including the Cologne and Berlin Philharmonien, Schauspielhaus Berlin, Gewandhaus Leipzig, National Philharmonic Hall Warsaw, and in Jordan Hall and Symphony Hall in Boston, as a duo partner with Kim Kashkashian, Robert Levin, and is a member of the chamber ensemble Mistral. Ms. Chuang’s mastery of the most challenging solo repertoire is complemented by extensive activities as a chamber musician and duo partner, and by her commitment to contemporary music, including world premieres of works by Stanley Walden and Thomas Oboe Lee.
Robert Levin
Robert Levin is a pianist and music scholar, noted for his study, reconstruction and performance of Mozart works as well as his interest in performance on historical instruments. As a pianist, Levin has been heard throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, and in Asia, in recital, as soloist, and in chamber concerts. He has appeared as a soloist with many of the top orchestras in the nation, and has performed on period pianos with respected early music groups throughout the world.
