Biography
Accomplished painter, accordion squeezer, Mekon (widely acknowledged as the suavest member), and now a resident of the USA. Rico's been around long enough to have seen the Mersey Beat scene, AND the birth of punk. This, coupled with his early love of Woody Guthrie and Mississippi Fred McDowell, has produced the raggedy soulful roots music that characterizes his solo career.
