Biography
Rebecca Foon is a composer and contemporary cellist who has worked and recorded with various artists including Silver Mt. Zion, Patti Smith, Tom Verlaine, Lhasa de Sela, Patrick Watson, Tanya Tagaq, Set Fire to Flames, British Sea Power, Little Scream, Vic Chesnutt and Carla Bozulich. She has worked on and composed various soundtracks including the documentary film H2Oil. She is a member of the bandEsmerine and MELSA and co-founder of Madrona Records. Rebecca was born in Vancouver, BC and currently lives in Montreal, Quebec.
