Boston’s Plumerai has been making music since 2004; reinventing themselves in early 2012 with new vocalist Eliza Brown and drummer Mickey Vershbow ing brothers Martin Newman on guitars and keyboards and James Newman on bass. This new incarnation weaves indie, post punk, dreampop, darkwave & shoegaze styles into a cohesive & original sound which builds on their established moody atmosphere. Their recently released album, “Mondegreen,” is a sophisticated mixture of layered guitars, melodic bass lines, and driving rhythms, accompanied by seductively jazzy vocals.
