Pimmon

By our knowledge Paul Gough is one of the first electronica-artists emerging from Australia and pointing down immediatelly an immense finger on the forefront of laptop artists. His debut om Meme was followed quickly by several albums on even more labels. We also had the honour to put out "kinetica" which was the first whom appealed to a more international crowd. He is one of those few electronica artists who has a distinctive sound. Probably because his roots were firmly into punkrock, pop and indie. It's no coincidence that artists such as Fennesz, Köhn and indeed Pimmon are on the forefront when it comes down to original structures and soundbits. Live-shows are very rare but when he does hit an audience, he hits them hard and without mercy. Pimmon is a householdname which will remain for years a marking point for fellow composers.
