Oni Ayhun

Oni Ayhun, whoever he is, is bringing a certain Scandinavian icyness to Detroit Techno. Having only released a series of singles on his own imprint, he has picked carefully which songs to reveal from his private laboratory. His synths bubble and pop, making his music feel like a hot spring surrounded by ice. There is something human about this music, but it is masked by layers of frost. His knack for unusual percussion sounds makes the whole package just more chilling.
