Description
The core duo of Dan St. Jacques (bass) and Adam Autry (drums) stopped by WFMU for an instrumental set of supremely funky sludge. Olneyville Sound System have been causing reverberations in the Providence underground since 1996, with frequent collaborators as they do double duty in such groups as Landed, Six Finger Satellite, and the Boredoms' Boadrum. Imagine Lightning Bolt covering ESG, concise noise-funk with nods to Flipper and Men's Recovery Project.
