KEXP Live, Feb 2011 Album

Apex Manor - Former Broken West frontman Ross Flounoy and his band Apex Manor make great use of raw rock and well-penned power pop on their debut full-length “The Year Of Magical Drinking.” The SoCal band stops by KEXP to play songs from the record live over our airwaves.
Finn Riggins - Idaho three-piece Finn Riggins brings their wonderfully off-kilter indie-pop sounds to KEXP for a live performance on our local music show “Audioasis.”
Hi-Life Soundsystem - Hi-Life Soundsystem features MCs Khingz and B Flat who drop crafty lyrics with a sense of humor while producer Crispy’s beats bubble and crack. The Northwest hip-hop trio plays tracks from their self-titled debut LP live on KEXP. Grynch guests on “My Baby.”
Trombone Shorty - New Orleans composer, bandleader, singer and ferocious horn man Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and his band Orleans Avenue bring their gumbo-flavored supafunkrock sound to KEXP. The live performance features tracks from the record “Backatown.”
Los Amigos Invisibles - Ebbulient Venezuelan dance-funk band Los Amigos Invisibles bring their party-inducing latin grooves to the KEXP studio for a killer set recorded live on Wo'pop.
Say Hi - Brooklyn expat/current Seattle resident Eric Elbogen and his band Say Hi bring their gloomily spry guitar-pop to the KEXP studio for a live set featuring tracks from their latest release "Um, Uh Oh."
Macklemore and Ryan - The deft and earnest flows of homegrown MC Ben Haggerty (aka Macklemore) drop over tightness from producer Ryan Lewis for a set of allstar seattle Hip-hop live in the KEXP studio.
Kimo Muraki - Kimo Muraki (of Seattle locals Hallways) plays a rare solo set of sweet psych folk live on KEXP's Audioasis.
Whalebones - Catch a seriously cookin' set of indie blues rock from local band Whalebones -- live on KEXP's Audioasis.
Throne of Bone - Seattle metal outfit Throne of Bone puts on a vicious live set at the KEXP studios featuring songs from their record “Tales of Triumph.”
Joshua Morrison - Seattle singer-songwriter Joshua Morrison brings along a wonderful cast of Northwest musicians for a live set of his slow-burning folk-pop. Recorded at KEXP and featuring tracks from the EP “Builder.”
Telekinesis - Dig the power-pop prowess of seattle band Telekinesis. Michael Lerner and co. play a tidy set of songs from their 2011 Chris Walla produced 2nd album "12 Desperate Straight Lines" live on KEXP.
