Description
On the fourteenth installment in his Field Report series, Portland, OR. composer Chad Crouch goes deeper into minimalism and sound design as he continues to hone his craft of interweaving music composition with his nature field recordings. Vol. XIV: Elkhead paints rich sound images with subtle washes. Melodies are simple, but poignant. Bell tones, soft piano, woodwinds and warm synthesizers settle into the ambient soundscapes, meandering through them naively.
