Lights Album

Lights is a 6-song EP that began in June 2012 with what was originally intended to be a demo of a new song, “City Lights”. Recorded in one take with guitar and vocals captured by a single microphone, the result was deemed good enough to build on. Over the following weeks five more songs were similarly recorded and the arrangements were filled out with an assortment of guitars, synthesizers, a Helpinstill portable piano and half a drum kit, along with guest musicians who contributed backing vocals and pedal steel.
