Biography
Aniqatia (an-uh-kay-dee-uh) was formed in the Spring of 2013 by two pairs of long-time Lehigh Valley musicians with the goal to create a distinctive sound that merged all of their varying influences. Locking the band into a specific genre is a difficult task, but Aniqatia combines post-rock, alternative, indie, and emo elements into their songs, leading to an experimental sound that is both refreshing and nostalgic at the same time.
The quartet recorded on the outskirts of Philadelphia with renowned engineer Vince Ratti (Circa Survive, Balance & Composure, The Wonder Years) on both E.P.'s "Erractics" and "Luminous" .
As of June 2017, both E.P.'s have accumulated over 160,000 listens and 30,000 s on the FMA and Jamendo.
