Double-F the King is Foluso Falaye from Ibadan, Nigeria.
He is determined to reconstruct the way the world views the whole trap and mainstream hip-hop industry with less dumbed-down lyrics and concepts, and by ing meaningful messages, without compromising the sonic appeal of his music.

Eventually, I got to record my first EP just after university, while my brother was in another state, Lagos. He was working as a producer in a studio, and it looked like our music dreams were finally coming to reality. Unfortunately, three days before recording, I lost my voice while recording a video for an Instagram music contest because I strained my voice while recording over and over again to get it just right. Yes, I am a bit of a perfectionist. I it. I panicked, wondering how I was going to record the EP I imagined would shoot me to stardom (something I cared for at that moment).
I formulated a strategy to talk as little as possible while keeping my fingers crossed that it would heal before then. Fortunately, it did. I recorded the five songs in my first EP High on Life is a Hip-hop/R&B EP that contains hyper, melodic, and catchy songs that people who wish to get the best out of life will relate to.
It feels good to be finally living the dream of making music that people around the world love—something we looked forward to while consuming several Western songs and miming their words as children. Double-F the King
